This bat house is loacted at Fermilab National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia. Besides being home to the world's highest-energy particle accelerator and collider, it also includes hundreds of acres that are being restored to tallgrass prairie. Experts say that less than one tenth of one percent of the Illinois prairie remains in its original condition.
