Windy City Grotto Membership Meeting October 9, 2024 07:30 PM
PJ Klem’s Restaurant will host our meeting tonight. Greg V. will provide a twelve minute promotional video presentation on next year’s NSS convention in Cobleskill New York. Greg S. will provide digital projection, sound, and viewing screen for the presentation. Zoom conferencing will not be provided. Greg S. has been asked to substitute chair this meeting due to a known scheduling conflict announced by Susan. Agenda items will include member commentary on the picnic at the Busse Woods as well as income statements from the caver auction. The current improved status of the Scholarship fund will be announced as well.

This field trip is hosted by the Illinois Karst Conservancy. Some supervised clean-up work is scheduled in and around the Pautler Cave property. Invasive plant species is probably the target this year as it was last year. Work crews get a reward trip back into the featured cave on Sunday.
