Old Timer’s Reunion. August 29 through September 2, 2024, Beverly, West Virgina
This is the annual Labor Day weekend gathering of East Coast cavers. Attendance here is by invitation only. Musical entertainment is booked each evening at the pavilion with “Driftwood the Band” scheduled as the headline show. Other “Americana”, “Bluegrass”, and Irish ethnic music will come and go during the day at the river’s edge and at the Cooter’s bar. There will be a bonfire most nights, as will the infamous hot tub, and probably, way too much alcohol.
Cave Fest August 31 through September 1, 2024. Sawanee, Tennessee
We are headed back to another giant gathering of cavers in the heart of TAG country. Lots of cave trips, and especially lots of vertical passage.
Dig & Paddle September 6 through 8, 2024 Maribel Wisconsin
We are headed back to help our friends at the Wisconsin Grotto. The project there is an ongoing restoration of Maribel Cave. We will assist in removing glacial till from that cave on Saturday. Sunday will be your choice of either digging out the project cave, or join our kayak trip in the Horicon Marsh.

September 14, 2024. Windy City Grotto Picnic and Caver Auction
We have grove 23 all day until 7:30 PM at the Busse Woods in Elk Grove Village. Canopy shelters will be provided by those grotto officers who have them. Food will be burgers and brats, complements of the Windy City Grotto. Greg Schmit will again run the auction sale. The Rescue Scholarship Fund will provide a number of high value “Feature” items for sale during this auction as well. Illinois licensed anglers may access the lake shore that is on the property. At least three and possibly as many as five kayaks will be portaged to the lake for members to use.
Thursday September 19 through Sunday September 22, 2024 Mississippi Valley Ozark Region Event. (MVOR).
The SEMO Grotto will host this event. lots of led and self led cave trips. Live music both Friday and Saturday nights with EXP Productions and the Deuce Denniger Band. Tent and trailer camping, ( No electric or septic hook-up available), at the St.Vincent De Paul Seminary Picnic Grounds, 1816 W. St. Joseph Street, Perryville, MO.
Thursday October 3 through Sunday October 6, 2024 TAG Fall Cave-In.
Hosted by the Dogwood City Grotto. Camping will be at Tommy’s Lazy G. 3591 Greenbriar Cove Road, Union Grove AL. 35175 NSS membership is required.
